From pick of the litter to best in show.
Born and bred in a home kitchen by passionate pet people with a better idea for healthy canine nutrition, Barkworthies had gained a considerable following among dog owners “in the know.” When it was time to launch their line of premium dog treats and chews among a wider audience and within a crowded category, they adopted Square Root for a cohesive rebranding. Packaging was the central challenge, as products had to connect with brick-and-mortar owners, leaping off shelves and clearly communicating ingredients and benefits. Flowing out of that came logo and tagline design, in-store display systems, trade show exhibition, website creation and email templates. To further leverage the emotional connection at the core of the brand, all consumer and trade print ads, as well as collateral materials, featured images of rescue dogs.
